Liability Waiver

All participants must accept the following waiver when registering online or sign it and return it to the Welcome Desk at the event.

1. I comply with the SUP Suisse regulations ("race rules") according to the announcement.
2. I affirm that I am physically fit and have trained sufficiently for this competition.
3. I hereby affirm that I have sufficient insurance coverage in case of illness and accident.
4. Participation in a competition is dangerous, and the risk of serious injury or even death cannot be 100% excluded.
5. I know and agree that I am solely responsible for my personal belongings and sports equipment during the competition and related activities.
6. I transfer image and sound rights for photos, film recordings, interviews etc. to SUP Suisse or the companies or sponsors commissioned in connection with the event - without any claim to reimbursement. The data can be used for advertising purposes.
7. I agree to be flown over by drones.
8. I accept that my registration data can be made known to third parties through the distribution of the ranking lists and similar.
9. I agree that my e-mail address will be used for the regular newsletter distribution with information about our offers and the sponsors. The given consent for the use of the e-mail address for sending the newsletter can be revoked at any time via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter.
10. I indemnify the organizers and the helpers of the event from all liability claims, as far as the legal liability does not cover these. This includes all direct and indirect damages as well as all claims that I or my heirs or other authorized third parties may assert due to injuries sustained or in the event of death. Further, I release all those mentioned in this section from any liability to third parties to the extent that they suffer damages as a result of my participation in the event.
11. I understand that the entry fees will be increased gradually. I know that if the event cannot be carried out or can only be carried out in a modified form due to force majeure or official requirements, I have no right to a refund of the entry fee.
12. With my registration I confirm to participate in the event only completely healthy, without previous illnesses, without symptoms of illness/Covid-19 and without contact with persons suffering from Covid-19 in the last 14 days before the event.
13. I have taken note of the COVID-19 protection concept valid on the day of the competition and commit myself to comply with it.
14. I agree that I will not receive a refund of the entry fee if I do not participate (do not start). All other benefits are excluded.
